Preparation, Packing & Shipping Of Garra Rufa FishOnce an order is confirmed we painstakingly hand count and choose the very best Garra Rufa fish in terms of size, health and isolate them in quarantine tanks.
Week one they are fed and observed to ensure only the very best is exported to our clients.
Week two and three we carry out preventive treatment for internal and external parasites, fungus, white spots, lies etc as a safety precaution to ensure that clients only receive the best Garra Rufa Fishes, and don’t have to worry about these issues.
Week four the Garra Rufa Fishes are ready to be shipped. Before shipping the Garra Rufa Fishes need to be purged.
Purging Process
The purging process is carried out for 3 days (72hrs). During the purging process no feeding activities takes placeThe fishes are meticulously hand counted and packed in bags similar to shipping conditions and every 8hrs we change 50% of the water in the purging bags. This process is carried out continuously for 72hrs.
On day four the Garra Rufa Fish are repacked in new bags for shipping. We do add stress coat, ammonia lock and a very mild tranquilizer to ensure the Garra Rufa are relaxed and arrive at your doorstep in the very best state and condition.
Note: Our packing procedure allows the Garra Rufa Fish, to stay alive and healthy in the bags without being opened for 4 days (96 hrs). We have tested this through various vigorous tests, all with positive results.
As our motto being Professional, Credible & Accountable, we therefore always provide 5% extra fishes if in case, not that it has happened. Lively Aquarium also provides guarantee of Death on Arrival (DOA) if any and if it exceeds the 5%. We confidently claim that till to date there has been no such claims from Lively Aquarium.
